Donna Caruso, a documentary filmmaker of Italian descent, lives in Saskatchewan’s beautiful Qu’Appelle Valley, under blue skies and puffy clouds that remind her of the best of Michaelangelo’s church ceilings. Desperately rooted in her Italian culture, Donna makes award-winning films and videos rich in sumptuous images; films and videos which tell stories with a personal intimacy that heals and heartens. Donna’s films and videos have won awards internationally.
